The Afghan Rock Rest Area Nullarbor Plain is located some 5 kilometres east of Balladonia and or 176 kilometres west of Caiguna. This site is suitable for an overnight stay but offers limited facilities with only a picnic table. Pets are OK – there is some shade and the site is suitable for larger rigs with plenty of space. The maximum stay is 24-hours. The Afghan Rock Rest Area is popular as a rest area with large trucks. There are no toilets, no water, and no dump point.
