Mount Thirsty Rest Area Claimed

The The Mt Thirsty Rest Area has a 24 Hour Limit for stopovers for fully self-contained vehicles and where camping in tents is permitted. There is plenty of shady spots to choose from all on level ground, with some trees for shade and a few rubbish bins, firepots are provided and dogs on lead and under control at all times are permitted. There are no toilets at the Mount Thirsty Rest Area. The Mt Thirsty is free of charge, and is accessible to self-contained RVs, camper trailers, caravans and big rigs. Camping in tents is allowed. You must be fully self-contained. The Mount Thirsty Rest Area is big enough to easily accommodate 20+ large self contained vehicles. The Mount Thirsty campground is app. 15 km north of Norseman toward Coolgardie.
