Puntabie Rest Area Claimed

The Puntabie Rest Area is a small gravel roadside stop immediately next to the Eyre Highway where you in the small South Australian region of Puntabie can pull off for a rest or an overnight stop if travelling in a fully self-contained recreational vehicle (RV). There are no facilities at the Puntabie Rest Area, other than a few picnic tables, some shade and rubbish bins. Pets are OK if kept on a lead and under control at all times. There is good mobile phone coverage. There are a few gravel tracks that lead back further away from the road. The Puntabie Rest Area, overnight camping spot is suitable for camper trailers, rooftop tents, campervans, motorhomes and caravans. No tent camping.
