Hearder Hill Westbound Rest Area Claimed

There are two rest areas at Hearders Hill, one on the Westbound side of the road and one on the Eastbound side. The The Hearder Hill Westbound Rest Area is a popular location for a short rest from driving or for an overnight stop for fully self-contained vehicles. If you have time, there are more tracks behind the main rest area leading into the scrub that you can explore with care. This is a free campground and is dog friendly as long as they are kept on a lead and under control. The Hearder Hill Westbound Rest Area is accessible to RVs, camper trailers and caravans – camping in tents is allowed but not really recommended.
