The Head Of Bight Rest Area Westbound Nullarbor Plain is a free camping area for an overnight stay only and suitable for fully self-contained recreational vehicles. The Head of The Bight is not long after your Nullarbor Plain adventure begins when travelling from South Australia towards Western Australia near the town of Yalata. The Head of the Bight is famous for Whale watching and also for the great views of the huge famous cliffs that stretch for about 200 kms along the Nullarbor. For a fee of app. $20 per adult (concessions are available), you can walk out a long timber boardwalk where you are near guaranteed to see Whales at the right time of the year.
