The small town of Kimba on the Nullarbor Plain is best known for being located half way across Australia, and a great stop for a photo opportunity. The town lies almost 100 Kilometres east of Wudinna and 90 kilometres west of Iron Knob. There are other good reasons to stop in Kimba including the beautiful silo art and the big galah. You can also drive up to White’s Knob Scenic Lookout to see the Edward John Eyre sculpture and learn about early pioneering in this area. There are also opportunities for a snack at a local cafe.
